If you are reading this blog, you will gain insight into who I am. This blog is an extension of my thoughts, my passions, and what is in my heart. My goal is to beautify and soften this world one thought at a time, while perhaps encouraging others to look at life a little differently. My hope is that people might be encouraged to live an elysian life: to learn to love and trust themselves; to find humor in the every day chaos of life; to beautify their surroundings; and perhaps even to make peace with their sufferings. Thanks for visiting and I look forward to hearing from you!
A little of my history…
I am a Colorado native but attended college in California, where I met my husband on a volleyball scholarship my freshman year. We were married the summer of my sophomore year, and our first baby was born the month after I graduated with a degree in psychology. We have since had four more children (now ages 9, 11, 12, 13, and 15) and have been very happily married for almost 18 years!
Early on, we discovered that our youngest son had some special needs. Our first years with him were filled with many trials that pushed me to my emotional edge. After hours of his screaming, I would find myself painting a wall in consolation, clearing my head, trying to mentally escape. What initially was my withdrawal became for me a restorative opportunity. I found that when my world was chaotic, I could create an environment that made me feel normal and balanced. I could take the energy of my pain and use it to reconstruct a feeling of peace and rest in our home. Long story short, this eventually led to the formation of my business, Corey Reagan Interiors.
All of this has made me who I am today. I am thankful for the journey and looking forward to what lies ahead. Thanks for taking the time to check out my blog. I welcome any feedback and look forward to hearing from you!
